These Terms of Use govern your use of the Studio X Uganda website and our photography services, operated by Studio X at Room NW-18, Akamwesi Shopping Mall, Gayaza Road, Kasangati, Kampala, Uganda. By browsing this site, creating a client account, or booking a session with us, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

Bookings, deposits and cancellations

Sessions can be booked through the client account system on this site or by contacting us directly. Depending on the type of session, we may request a deposit to confirm your booking date, and cancellation or rescheduling within a short window of your session may affect that deposit. Because specific booking, deposit, and cancellation terms can vary by session type and season, please contact us at studioxkla@gmail.com or +256 772 631015 to confirm the current booking terms before your session.

Image usage rights

Images from your session are made available to you through your private client gallery for personal use. Unless you tell us otherwise, Studio X retains the right to use a select number of images from your session in our public portfolio, website, and marketing materials (including social media), to showcase our work. If you would prefer your images are not used this way, simply let us know at studioxkla@gmail.com and we will exclude them.

Copyright

All photographs taken by Studio X, and all text, graphics, logos, and design elements on this website, are the copyright of Studio X unless otherwise noted. Client galleries are licensed to clients for personal, non-commercial use. Reproduction, resale, or commercial use of our photographs without prior written permission is not permitted.

Website use

You agree to use this website lawfully and not to attempt to interfere with its normal operation, gain unauthorized access to client accounts, or misuse any content, images, or contact information found on it.

Liability

We take reasonable care to deliver high-quality photography and a smooth booking experience, but Studio X is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website, delays, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control (such as equipment failure, illness, or events outside the studio’s control affecting a session). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ugandan law.

Governing law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda, and any disputes arising from them will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda.
